Wright Holland Knight – A Board Member and Political Activist

Wright Holland and Knight is a law firm with a long history in Florida. The two firms merged in August 2021. Its employment and education practice group represents clients all over the country. The law firm’s other divisions include personal injury, insurance, bankruptcy, and trusts and estates.

Doug Wright was a partner at Holland & Knight

Doug Wright served on many boards outside Holland & Knight. He served as a member of the board of directors of the Salvation Army, the United Church of Tampa Bay, and Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay. He is also an emeritus member of the Levin School of Law. Despite his busy schedule, he made time for his family. He is the father of three children.

During his tenure as a partner at the firm, Wright oversaw operations, marketing, and human resources. He was also responsible for the firm’s community service activities. A proud father of three, Wright was active in his community. He served on a number of boards, including the Bob Graham Center for Public Service, and advocated for youth affected by the opioid crisis.

He was a member of the firm’s board of directors

For almost twenty years, Doug Wright was a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and served as its senior manager in several areas. He oversaw human resources, marketing and information technology and was also involved in various nonprofit and civic endeavors. A dedicated family man, he also served as board member of United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay and Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay. His family was a central part of his life and he was proud of his children and grandchildren.

Wright, 57, was a member of the firm’s Board of Directors from 2011 to 2016. He is also a board member at the Bob Graham Center for Public Service and Salvation Army. His commitment to community service made him an invaluable part of Holland & Knight’s culture.

He was a political activist

Wright Holland Knight was a lawyer who was also a political activist. During his career, he held various leadership positions in the legal community and was a member of various nonprofit boards. He was involved with the Bob Graham Center for Public Service, United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay, and Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay. Wright was admired by colleagues and was known for his generosity. He had a lively personality, according to former partner Steven Sonberg.

He was a father of three

He also was a member of several nonprofit organizations and served on the Board of Advisors of several organizations. He was a father of three daughters. Wright was a devoted member of his community, and his time was greatly appreciated. He was known for his wit and generosity. He will be missed by a long list of family and friends.
