Whenever you hear the name Shealen Uaiwa, the first thing that pops into your head are the countless allegations of sexual abuse that she has been accused of. She has been arrested, charged with various forms of sexual misconduct, and is now reportedly facing a lifetime of prison time. Her ex-husband, B.J. Penn, also faces allegations of abuse, but he was reportedly divorced from his wife. The two have two children together, but the allegations of abuse are believed to be unfounded.
Divorce from B.J. Penn
MMA Junkie is reporting that B.J. Penn’s longtime girlfriend, Shealen Uaiwa, has obtained a restraining order against the former UFC fighter. The order was filed in October, claiming that Penn had been abusing Uaiwa for years.
Uaiwa said that Penn was abusive in verbal and physical ways. She alleges that Penn threatened her family and her daughter. Penn also allegedly poured cocaine on Uaiwa’s oldest daughter. Penn also yelled at Uaiwa when she refused to perform certain sexual acts.
The temporary restraining order is set to run through October 2021. Penn was ordered to stay at least 100 feet away from Uaiwa and to not contact her. Penn also was given limited contact with Uaiwa’s daughter.
Uaiwa’s oldest daughter claims that Penn physically abused her over a decade-long relationship. Penn also allegedly threatened to kill Uaiwa’s family.
Penn is scheduled to fight Clay Guida in Brazil on May 11 at UFC 237. He has been practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since he was 17. Penn has been in the UFC for two years after a three-year hiatus. He is one of the most popular fighters in UFC history.
Allegations of abuse
MMA legend and two division UFC champion BJ Penn is facing allegations of abuse against his estranged girlfriend Shealen Uaiwa. According to Cageside Press, Uaiwa filed a non-criminal case in Hawaii Family Court. She alleges that Penn was abusive in a variety of ways, including verbally, physically and sexually.
The initial restraining order required Penn to stay 100 feet away from Shealen Uaiwa, as well as to not contact her or her children. A temporary restraining order was issued in October and was extended until February of this year. It was then extended again to October 2021. Penn was then allowed limited contact with Shealen Uaiwa, including supervised visits with their children.
Uaiwa claims that Penn threatened to kill her family. She alleges that Penn abused her physically, verbally and sexually over a 10-year relationship. She also claims that Penn was a drug addict and that he abused his alcohol and drug addictions. She claims that Penn forced her to have sex with other men.
Children with B.J. Penn
MMA fighter BJ Penn is being accused of physical abuse and verbal abuse by his estranged girlfriend Shealen Uaiwa. The two had been in a relationship for 10 years, but recently they broke up. Uaiwa alleges that Penn was drunk when they were involved in an altercation, and that Penn threatened to kill Uaiwa’s family. Penn was also accused of hitting Uaiwa in the back of the head during the incident.
Penn has been a longtime drug user and a cocaine addict. He was involved in an automobile accident in Hawaii while under the influence of alcohol. The accident happened on February 7, 2020. Penn was later charged with DUI in Hawaii. He also spilled cocaine on the oldest of his daughters. Penn was ordered to keep at least 100 feet away from Uaiwa.
Shealen Uaiwa obtained a protective order in October. The order is effective until October 2021. The protective order includes allegations of verbal and sexual abuse. Penn was also ordered to stay away from Uaiwa’s two children. Penn was also prohibited from contacting Uaiwa, and was ordered to visit her under supervision.
Restraining order
MMA Junkie, a website dedicated to reporting on the world of mixed martial arts, has received information that Sean Penn and his estranged girlfriend, Shealen Uaiwa, have been issued a temporary restraining order. Uaiwa was the mother of Penn’s two daughters and had been dating the former UFC two-division champ for more than a decade. Penn was not charged with any crime in connection with the allegations made by Uaiwa.
Uaiwa said she was in a hotel room when she was assaulted by Penn. The two had a confrontation that included Penn’s children. Penn was reportedly drunk at the time of the incident. Penn allegedly yelled at Uaiwa when she refused to do certain sexual acts. Penn also allegedly told Uaiwa that he could not knock her out. Penn also smashed Uaiwa’s cell phone.
Uaiwa claims that Penn has been a drug addict since age 14. She also claims that Penn had cocaine in his bathroom. Penn reportedly flew into verbally abusive fits when he was high. Penn also threatened Uaiwa’s family.
