Actress Lauren Stafford Webb has a unique, quirky style that sets her apart from other actors. Her talent has been widely recognized and she’s had major roles in movies and television shows. She is currently signed to Warner Bros., and her upcoming roles include The X-Files and The Mummy.
Intuit’s brand campaign
Despite the well-known brands of Quicken, QuickBooks, and Mint, Intuit remains relatively unknown among Americans. So, the company decided to launch its first brand campaign in an animated digital video. The video earned over one million views before Intuit began advertising on it. It was featured on Facebook, YouTube, and Hulu.
The commercial follows the story of an entrepreneur named Luisa, who designs coffee cups and hats in her father’s coffee shop. She then goes on to sell the items she designs at a street stand. Unfortunately, she loses her receipts in the wind. Then, a giant from Intuit shows up and shows her how to improve her cash flow with QuickBooks, TurboTax, and Mint.
Intuit’s creative strategy
Intuit recently launched a new creative strategy to connect with small business owners. The campaign, called “Journey to Success,” featured former Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez and emphasizes the perseverance of early-stage entrepreneurs. The creative strategy was developed by a global team, including Juniper ParkTBWA, the company’s creative agency of record. Hearts & Science handled the buy-side.
The strategy is driven by Intuit’s mission to “power prosperity” through innovation and social responsibility, and the company’s cornerstone products. Each cornerstone product has its own value proposition, target audience, and brand identity, which helps differentiate Intuit from its competitors. In addition, the strategy focuses on improving the customer experience and making the tax season as easy as possible.
Intuit’s insights team
Lauren Stafford-Webb, head of global corporate marketing for Intuit, believes that everyone deserves a prosperous life. Many Americans live paycheck-to-paycheck, and even the smallest emergency can throw them and their family into a financial crisis. Intuit offers a range of financial tools to help people manage their money.
Webb’s experience in running Amazon’s physical payments business led her to Intuit. Her company uses aspirational messaging to attract customers. It offers free estate planning services, produces its own podcast, and curates third-party content. The team’s focus is on helping businesses and individuals achieve their goals.
Though its three brands are widely known among business professionals, Intuit remains relatively unknown among average Americans. As a result, the company decided to launch its first brand campaign via an animated video that went viral in record time. The four-minute long video was shared on Facebook and YouTube and received over one million views before the ad was even released. Shorter versions of the video were posted on other social media platforms, including Snapchat.
The commercial features an up-and-coming Latina singer named Raiche, who identifies with the character Luisa. The song, Shine, was written by Raiche and helped create Luisa’s drive.
Previously, Jennifer Nuckles and Lauren Stafford Webb held executive roles at social media giant Zynga and Intuit. They will replace Bradford at the startup. It’s not yet clear who will fill the other executive roles. SoFi has also hired a dozen new employees in the past year to replace the departing executives.
